How to Use Dance Emtoes

In Roblox, dances are "emotes". These are actions that you can make your character perform by typing a command into the chat.

As an example, we'll show you how to use the most common dance emote, dance:

  1. Join any Roblox game
  2. Open the chat by pressing /
  3. Type /e dance into the chat and press ENTER on your keyboard

Your character will then perform the dance emote! For other dances see below.

Below you can find a list of all dance emotes in Roblox, along with video previews and the commands you need to know to perform them.

  • Dance

    This emote makes your character perform an energetic dance jumping and flailing their hands from left to right.

    /e dance

  • Dance 2

    This emote makes your character hold their arms up and wave from left to right, almost like a robot.

    /e dance2

  • Dance 3

    This emote makes your character hold their arms up and wave them from left to right in a rhythmic fashion.
