In Adopt Me, eggs are one of the best ways of obtaining and collecting in-game pets. Whether you choose a Cracked Egg, Jungle Egg, or even a Diamond Egg, each egg has the chance to hatch a new and exciting pet to add to your collection.
One of the more popular in-game eggs is the Retired Egg, which was added in 2022 and contains the highly valuable legendary Unicorn pet.
How to Get Retired Eggs
Retired Eggs can be purchased for 600 Bucks in the VIP room inside of the Nursery. As soon as you enter the VIP area, you'll find the Retired Egg kiosk just a few steps away from the door, right beside the shower area:
How to Buy Retired Eggs Without VIP
Without the VIP game pass, you can't directly buy Retired Eggs. However, you can still get them through alternative means with the help of other players:
Trading With Others
You can get Retired Eggs by trading with other people who have them. There are often people on Adoption Island who are willing to part with their Retired Eggs at a low price, so you can usually get a stack of them by just having a few decent pets or eggs to trade.
Some people even overpay with Retired Eggs on purpose, since VIP players can easily restock on them if they run out. Regular servers will usually have people offering up their eggs in their trade stands:
Asking VIP Friends
You can also try to befriend people who have the VIP game pass. Since a Retired Egg only costs 600 Bucks, a VIP player who has grinded a lot will typically have no problem helping out those who can't afford to buy the game pass. You can potentially get a handful of Retired Eggs by simply asking nicely.
