Anime Last Stand: Best Units Tier List

With Anime Last Stand constantly changing things up and even recently reverting a lot of content to try and get back on track, it gets hard keeping up with all the current meta. To help you out, we've compiled this tier list of all the best units in their respective roles and in different stages of account progression.

To be clear, this is a different twist on a traditional tier list as we'll only be covering the actual top units, ordered from best to "worst" (relatively, as they're all good).

Early Game

These units are good early pulls that can carry you all the way through the levels as you progress towards the mid-game stages of your account. Some of them continue to be really good all throughout, so try to get them if possible!

Mid Game

The units in this category excel at mid-game content and can even push you all the way to late-game in the game's current state.

Some of these, like Explosive Bloody Demon, get better as you progress further, as long as you can manage your resources well or use the farm units (which are covered further down) to compensate for their high costs during a match.

Late Game

These units are some of the best overall characters to have in late-game content. A decent mix of these and some of the best support and farm units will get you through most things in the game, barring any elemental requirements and other restrictions.

Support Units

While there are still quite a few other viable support units, these ones are generally considered to be among the best across different use cases.

Their usefulness varies based on what you need. For example, some of these characters grant powerful offensive buffs, while others are taken for their crowd control abilities (e.g. Riku's freeze).

Farm Units

Finally, the farm units are in a category of their own as their value lies solely in their ability to generate cash. Depending on your team, you may need to slot in two or more of these units to keep up with constant upgrades and relocations.
