Anime Origins is constantly updated with new units, which shift the meta around and allow for creative team compositions that you'll need to figure out if you want to clear the hardest content in the game. Keeping up with all the changes can be difficult, so we've made this tier list to help you find the best meta units in the game.

IMPORTANT: This tier list includes meta units, so those not mentioned are currently not favored and ideally left out of your team until a new update makes them relevant again.

S Tier - Absolute Peak

The units in this tier are among the best ones for their role. A properly built composition with well-equipped units from this tier will get you through most of the game's content with ease.

A Tier - Very Strong

These units are also really good in their role, and they can punch up in terms of overall performance based on how you set up your team. Solid picks all around.

This tier also includes the farm units. They miss out on the top tier by being solely for farming, even if income generation is a key mechanic in some levels.

B Tier - Great Alternatives

B Tier units can fill in for any gaps in your composition if you're still missing some of the top performers in the game. Some of these may even be equal to higher tier units in certain content (e.g. Sunji (Swordsmith) for stages that require a lot of fire damage).

C Tier - Pretty Good

While not necessarily bad, these units are mainly filler for when you don't have stronger counterparts. They'll get you by in most content, but there will be plenty of room for improvement in your loadout.
