In Blade Ball, abilities allow players to gain both defensive and offensive advantages when in battle. There are currently 63 abilities available in Blade Ball, with each hosting their own unique perks and benefits. You'll even be able to upgrade these abilities as you continue to progress through the game, which will help improve your chances of victories and allow you to dominate the battlefield!

S Tier - The Best
These abilities are generally seen as some of the best, especially when used by skilled players who can mitigate possible counters.
Ability Name | What It Does |

Dribble | Confuse enemies by dribbling the ball. |
Singularity | Pulls the ball towards you and shoots it at a fast speed. |
Infinity | Stops the ball from hitting you and gives you a few seconds to shoot it. |
Slashes of Fury | Stops the ball and lets you fire at different speeds. |
Quantum Arena | Mass ability disable and temporary abilities for the user. |
A Tier - Great
The abilities in this tier are also great, but are a little more situational or less aggressive than the ones at the very top.

Necromancer | Can be used to spawn zombies that help you. |
Titan | Grants various temporary buffs. |
Dragon Spirit | Summons a dragon that helps you defend. |
Time Hole | Creates an area that buffs you and debuffs nearby enemies. |
Tact | Automatic curving on parry. |
Death Slash | Gives you the opportunity to parry at a high speed. |
Fracture | Splits the ball in two (targets different players). |
Phantom | Teleport behind an enemy and slow them. |
Guardian Angel | Free automatic block if you miss. |
B Tier - Pretty Good
These abilities aren't bad, but they require a bit more skill to use and may not be the best skill for certain situations.

Rapture | Curves and significantly speeds up the ball. |
Slash of Duality | Lets you temporarily turn the ball invisible or have it fly at a fast speed. |
Serpent Shadow Clone | Spawns clone/s that can parry the ball. |
Zeus' Storm | Briefly slows everybody and disables their abilities. |
Bunny Leap | Hop in the air and slam down, trapping enemies near your landing point. |
Doppelganger | Turns you invisible and creates a clone of yourself. |
Pull | Makes the ball target you. |
Aerodynamic Slash | Shoots the ball in the air, then it flies down quickly. |
Hell Hook | Pulls a player towards you. |
Forcefield | Deflects the ball while active. |
Flash Counter | Teleports to the last person who hit the ball, freezing them briefly. |
C Tier - Mid
These abilities aren't necessarily bad, but they may sometimes actually work against the user if used incorrectly or if the player isn't skilled enough to outplay others with them.

Absolute Confidence | Taunts the ball, making it target you every other hit. |
Blink | Short-distance teleport. |
Freeze | Temporarily freezes the ball. |
Reaper | Buffs you each time you kill a player. |
Telekinesis | Stops the ball and launches it quickly at another target. |
Virus | Infects (slow and blind) other players. |
Swap | Swap places with another player. |
Bounty | Lets you pick somebody as your bounty, letting you score stronger parries towards them. |
Calming Deflection | Slows down the ball on parry. |
Raging Deflection | Speeds up the ball on parry. |
Ninja Dash | Dash to the ball and instantly parry. |
D Tier - Niche Picks
The abilities here generally aren't good, but they can shine in certain situations or in the hands of players who are very dedicated to making these work.

Chieftain's Totem | Buffs parry strength and speed for allies within range, slows enemies nearby. |
Continuity Zero | Lets you place a portal that the ball will teleport to. |
Event Horizon | Pulls everybody towards it when cast. |
Quasar | Summons a spirit that will briefly blind an enemy. |
Thunder Dash | A quicker dash. |
Encrypted Clone | Creates a clone that passes the ball to you. |
Golden Ball | Your kills won't respawn the ball. |
Invisibility | Become temporarily invisible/untargetable. |
Shadow Step | Temporary and sporadic invisibility + speed boost. |
F Tier - Bad
The abilities in this tier are typically just bad and will not do much, if anything, against competent players.

Qi-Charge | Lets you charge up for buffs. |
Scopophobia | Can slow down nearby enemies. |
Blade Trap | Creates a trap that can catch and shoot the ball. |
Force | Creates shockwaves that knock nearby players back. |
Quad Jump | Lets you jump 4 times. |
Dash | A plain dash. |
Wind Cloak | Temporary speed and jump boost. |
Gale's Edge | Creates a moving wall that temporarily pushes the ball. |
Displace | Swaps the ball's location with a random player. |
Luck | Makes you less likely to get targeted by the ball. |
Misfortune | Makes you more likely to get targeted by the ball. |
Super Jump | Lets you jump high. |
Phase Bypass | Temporarily makes you very fast, then teleports you back to where you used the ability. |
Platform | Creates a pillar on your current location. |
