More Blox Fruits Guides

The Cursed Dual Katana, or CDK for short, is widely considered to be one of the best swords in Blox Fruits. As a powerful Mythical sword, it takes a lot of effort to obtain, as it requires you to get both Yama and Tushita as well.

To help you out, our guide will show you exactly how to get both of the required katanas, as well as in-depth details on how to unlock the CDK and what it's good for.

How to Get the CDK

Just like the True Triple Katana (TTK), you need to get other secret legendary swords before you can unlock the CDK.

Let's go over all the requirements first!

CDK Requirements

To acquire the CDK, you first need to meet the following prerequisites:

  • Level 2,200 or above
  • Access to the Third Sea
  • Tushita at 350+ mastery
  • Yama at 350+ mastery
  • Completion of the Cursed Dual Katana Puzzle
  • OPTIONAL: The Portal fruit with World Warp unlocked will be incredibly helpful throughout the whole process

How to Get Tushita

To acquire the Tushita, you must first be at least level 2,000 and be in a server where the raid boss rip_indra True Form is alive. The boss requires a God's Chalice to summon, but you don't have to do it yourself for this puzzle.

If you want to summon the raid boss yourself, you can get a God's Chalice by killing one of the elite pirates in the Third Sea. We have a guide on where to find Urban that can help with this.

While rip_indra True Form is alive, head inside the waterfall in Hydra Island. You'll find a Secret Temple inside. Use an explosive attack (e.g. Cannon's M1) to break into the temple and kill all the enemies inside.

After a few seconds, a secret passage will open. Enter it.

In the secret passage, go through the large door to get teleported to the Floating Turtle island, this time with a Holy Torch in your inventory.

Upon doing this, you have 5 minutes to find and light unlit torches scattered throughout the giant turtle. Simply touch the unlit torches while holding out the Holy Torch to light them.

Here are their locations:

Once that's done, assuming you were fast enough, you can now enter Longma's Hideout. This is found near where the first torch was, and all you have to do from here is defeat Longma, who is a level 2,000 boss that drops the Tushita.

IMPORTANT: You must score the killing blow on Longma to get the Tushita!

How to Get Yama

To get Yama, you must first complete 30 Elite Hunter/Player Hunter quests. You can complete a mix of either or just one type of quest. Aside from Urban, we also have a guide on where to find Diablo that can help here.

Once you have completed that many quests, you now have a guaranteed chance to get Yama. Enter the Secret Temple at the waterfall in Hydra Island, same as the one you entered for Tushita.

There, you must defeat all of the enemies in the temple. Afterwards, simply interact with the sword in the stone found in the middle of the room. This will give you Yama.

Starting the CDK Puzzle

Once you have the required swords, have leveled them up to 350 mastery, and are currently at least level 2,200, you are now ready to obtain the Cursed Dual Katana.

To start the CDK puzzle, you must go to the base of the large tower near the Mansion on the Floating Turtle.

There, you will find the Crypt Master. Speak with him and agree to have him open the passage nearby.

The door on the opposite side of the building should now be open. Head over there and enter the cursed passageway that the Crypt Master has opened for you.

Inside, you will find a Yama Scroll and Tushita Scroll. Interact with either of them to start their respective trials. For this guide, we will start with the Yama Scroll.

How to Complete the Yama Trials

The Yama Trials are considered to be harder, so we'll start with that. Each trial will reward you with 1 Alucard Fragment straight to your inventory, so you can use that as confirmation that you've completed a trial.

Yama Trial #1. Pain and Suffering

Complete Pain and Suffering by taking a total of around 10,000 damage from any NPC or player while wielding the Yama sword.

Yama Trial #2. Haze of Misery

Kill all enemies with a purple mark on them. They can be on any island in the Third Sea, and this can also include the enemies in the Secret Temple in Hydra Island's waterfall.

Yama Trial #3. Fear the Reaper

Allow the Soul Reaper to kill you. This enemy can be summoned by offering a Hallow Essence in the graveyard at the Haunted Castle island.

Hallow Essence can be acquired from the same NPC that gives you the Fire Essence, also at the Haunted Castle.

The Soul Reaper in Blox Fruits

When the Soul Reaper kills you while you are doing this trial, you will be sent to the Hell Dimension rather than actually die. In this small area, you must light 3 torches, which will summon enemies beside you each time.

After all of the torches have been lit, you must defeat the Hell's Messenger boss. This will activate a portal nearby, which will take you back to the crypt with the trial scrolls.

You will see the usual message saying: The scroll reacts to your achievements when you get teleported. That should be the final trial completed for Yama!

How to Complete the Tushita Trials

Same as the Yama Trials, you will receive an Alucard Fragment for each trial you complete. These are much easier in comparison.

Tushita Trial #1. Dock Legend

Talk to three different Boat Dealers and/or Luxury Boat Dealers on three different islands. Pick the "Pardon me" option for all of them.

Tushita Trial #2. Sense of Duty

Kill any NPC from a Pirate Raid event. This occurs at the Castle on the Sea every hour or so.

Tushita Trial #3. Soulless

For this one, you must defeat the Cake Queen within two minutes. A song will start playing once you land your first attack, which marks the beginning of the 2-minute timer.

If you kill her in time, you will be teleported to the Heaven Dimension. Just like in the Yama Trials, you must light 3 torches and defeat the boss at the end, a Heaven's Guardian using Light powers.

After killing the boss, a heavenly gate will activate nearby. Enter it to be teleported back to the crypt on the Floating Turtle.

You will see another message saying: The scroll reacts to your achievements after being teleported. You're all done with the Tushita Trials!

The Final Step - Fighting the Cursed Skeleton Boss

Upon completing both trials, interact with the scrolls to burn them. You will now be able to interact with the pedestal in the crypt, between where the two scrolls were.

Interacting with the pedestal in Blox Fruits

A brief cutscene will happen where a gem will be inserted into the wall beside the pedestal, revealing a secret room behind it. A Cursed Skeleton Boss will appear in the secret room, and you must defeat it in order to claim a guaranteed Cursed Dual Katana.

IMPORTANT: Only Yama or Tushita can deal damage to the Cursed Skeleton Boss, so be sure to pump up your sword stat before fighting it. If you didn't get the CDK after killing it, try to server hop, as it sometimes glitches and refuses to appear until you log back into the game.
