Dragon Talon in Blox Fruits - Everything You Need to Know

Bring some heat to the battlefield!

More Blox Fruits Guides

Dragon Talon is generally considered to be one of the strongest fighting styles in Blox Fruits, just below heavy hitters like Godhuman and Sanguine. In line with its power, it can be really tedious to get.

To help you unlock this fighting style, we'll go over all the requirements you need to get Dragon Talon, as well as how you can upgrade it to V2.

Dragon Talon Requirements

Before we go into more details, here is a quick summary of everything you'll need to unlock Dragon Talon:

  • Dragon Breath with 400 Mastery
  • $3,000,000
  • 5,000 Fragments
  • Fire Essence (Get this last)

Since Dragon Talon will cost you a lot of money, you may want to check out our guide on how to get a lot of Beli fast in Blox Fruits too!

How to Get Dragon Talon (Step-by-Step)

Step #1. Unlock Dragon Breath

To get the Dragon Talon fighting style, you first need to unlock Dragon Breath. You can buy this from an NPC named Sabi in the Kingdom of Rose, Second Sea.

Sabi is located in a small tunnel on the wall overlooking the factory, just above the second quest giver of this island.

The fighting style will cost you 1,500 Fragments.

Step #2. Get Mastery 400 on Dragon Breath

There is no shortcut to this, but if you want to speed up the grind, it's highly recommended to use the Buddha fruit. It'll give you an immense range buff that'll help you pull and kill enemies faster.

Step #3. Get a Fire Essence

You may refer to our guide on how to get the Fire Essence for more details.

Simply put, you have go to the Haunted Castle island and gamble at the Death King NPC for 50 bones each attempt. The Fire Essence has a very low drop chance, so it'll take a lot of luck and/or time before you can get one.

IMPORTANT: Once you get a Fire Essence, do the next step immediately. Dying or leaving the server beforehand will remove it from your inventory.

Step #4. Bring the Fire Essence to Uzoth

Bring all of the requirements (click the word for a recap) to Uzoth, who is located in the Dragon Dojo on Hydra Island.

He is standing near a giant pole just past the entrance of the dojo, and he's incredibly hard to miss because of his flaming hands, which you'll also get with the fighting style:

Once you speak with him with all the requirements ready, he will offer to teach you Dragon Talon. Upon clicking "Learn", you'll now have a brand new fighting style equipped!

Dragon Talon V2 Upgrade Requirements

Upgrading Dragon Talon to V2 requires you to have at least 500 Mastery with it. Once that is met, return to the Dragon Dojo and talk to the Dojo Trainer.

You'll have to go through his entire quest chain until you earn a Dojo Belt (Blue) accessory. Here is a quick overview of everything you will have to complete:

There are a few more quests after this, but you only need to unlock the blue belt to start upgrading Dragon Talon.

Upgrading Dragon Talon (V2)

Once you've reached blue belt status, you can now upgrade Dragon Talon by speaking with Uzoth. He will offer to upgrade your moves one by one in exchange for Blaze Embers.

In total, you will need 22 Blaze Embers to upgrade every move to V2.

How to Get Blaze Embers

These can be acquired by speaking to the Dragon Hunter and picking the "Hunt" option. This will give you a random quest that you can complete on Hydra Island.

Upon completion of a task, don't return to the Dragon Hunter yet. Look around and you'll find some floating bits of fire. These are the Blaze Embers, and you should pick them up while you can!
