Buddha is one of the best fruits for both grinding and a bit of PVP in Blox Fruits, and it's surprisingly good for how easy it is to get. In this guide, we will go over Buddha's value, how to awaken it, and all of its abilities before and after evolving it.
How Much is Buddha? (Perm & Fruit Dealer)
Buddha costs $1,200,000 from the Fruit Dealer, and as a Legendary fruit, there's a roughly 5-7% chance to roll it from the Fruit Gacha NPC. Compared to other top tier fruits, it's not too hard to get overall.
To get a permanent version of it, you can spend 1,650 Robux on the in-game store or trade from other players who have it.

Buddha's Trade Value (Permanent & Normal)
A permanent Buddha nowadays can go as high as 2 Kitsunes and adds. The adds depend on what you have at the moment, but sellers typically go for high value fruits like Gas, Dough, and more.
For the normal version of Buddha, you can easily trade other legendary fruits like Portal and Lightning, though you'll be overpaying a bit with the latter.

How to Awaken Buddha (Step-by-Step)
In order to awaken Buddha, you must start raiding for fragments, which you can start doing in the Second Sea. Let's go over the steps one by one.
Step 1. Gain Access to Second Sea
To start farming for your fruit's awakening, you first need to gain access to the Second Sea. This requires you to be at least level 700, so follow the ideal island order and start grinding if you aren't that high yet.
Once there, you'll need to make your way to the Hot and Cold island, where you can find the Laboratory. It's on the Cold part of the island.

Step 2. Start Farming Raids
Inside the Laboratory, approach the giant screens in the room and press each button from left to right until the screens display the following colors: Red, Blue, Green, Blue

When you're done, a door should open up behind you. This will lead you to the raid room, so make your way down there. Keep following the path until you reach another open door.

There, you will find the Mysterious Scientist NPC, who will offer to sell you a microchip for $100,000 or any physical fruit. Select the Buddha normal raid from the options he gives you.

You must have the Buddha fruit equipped in order to awaken it!
Completing a Buddha Raid
With the microchip on hand, stand in one of the blue portals in the room and push the green button beside it to teleport into the actual raid.

The Buddha raid is one of the hardest ones due to the absurdly tanky enemies you'll face inside. It's highly recommended to come in here with a powerful weapon and/or one of the best accessories that you can get at your level.
If you can find a group who can help you, even better, especially if they have high AOE fruits like Magma. Having the Ghoul Race is fantastic if you want to solo it too.

Step 3. Awakening the Buddha Fruit
Upon defeating the Buddha raid boss while having Buddha equipped, you'll be transported into a secret area with a Mysterious Entity NPC. Speak with him and select the "ASCENSION" option.

From here, you can awaken your moves one by one at the cost of fragments, which you also earn from beating raids. Here's the order in which you awaken moves, as well as the cost for each:
Ability | Fragment Cost |
|---|---|
Shift (Z) | 500 |
Retribution Dash (F) | 2,000 |
Heavenly Impact (X) | 3,000 |
Light of Annihilation (C) | 4,000 |
Twilight of the Gods (V) | 5,000 |
You only need to awaken the first move if you only care about the better transformation. Awakened Shift gives you a massive damage reduction buff and more.
Buddha's Abilities
Before we dive into its movesets, Buddha has a passive ability that grants you a 35% (45% when awakened) damage reduction buff while transformed. This bonus is higher against NPCs, and it affects all types of attacks.
It also lets you use other weapons and fighting styles while transformed, granting a massive range buff alongside your already good survivability. Pair it with something like Godhuman or a faster fighting style if you're purely grinding.
It's worth noting that Buddha abilities can only be used while transformed.
