Dandy's World: How to Get Research

In Dandy's World, Research is an item you'll be able to use to progress your Toon. It can also be used to unlock Trinkets, an in-game modifier which can be applied to Toons to provide unique effects. There are 2 ways you'll be able to get Research:

• Through collecting Research Capsules
• Through encountering Twisteds

How to Collect Research Capsules

First, you'll need to enter a game as normal. You'll then need to look for Research Capsules, which are small items on the floor which look like this:

Once you've located some Research Capsules, you'll need to walk up to them and press the E key to collect them:

Each collected Research Capsule will reward your character with 1% Research!

Tip: To improve the rate at which you earn Research, you'll need to unlock and equip the Rodger Toon. This will double the Research collected per Research Capsule from 1% to 2%!

How to Encounter Twisteds

First, you'll need to enter a game as normal. You'll then need to look around for hostile NPCs, which will look like this:

To encounter a Twisted, you'll simply need to walk up close to them. Doing so will reward your character with 5% Research towards the Twisted you encountered.

Note: You can only earn Research from each Twisted once per game - encountering the same Twisted more than once will not provide your character with more Research.
