Buddies are essentially just cosmetic plush toys that you can take with you whenever you start a new run in DOORS, and they help spice up your runs by being adorable toys that have distinct animations and playable sounds.
There are a handful of buddies you can get in the game, and the process is relatively straightforward. In this guide, we'll show you exactly how to get them and a few tips to keep in mind if you're trying to collect them all.
How to Get Buddies
The main way to get buddies is through seasonal events, usually during holidays like Halloween and Christmas. The developers may also release them during other minor events, so always keep an eye out for any new updates that they roll out.
Occasionally, buddies are also given away for free via codes!
The tasks you have to do will be different each time. For instance, the 2025 Christmas buddy, Cringle, could be bought after earning the Silent Night badge.
In the 2026 Halloween event, you only had to complete the Event Pass to claim the Lil Treat Buddy.
