Fisch: How to Catch the Isonade

In Fisch, the Isonade is a mythical fish which is required for the Vertigo bestiary, and consequently is a tough fish to catch. It also has an average weight of around 1200KG, which means you can't just use any rod to catch it.

To catch an Isonade, you'll need to fish for it in Strange Whirlpools.

How to Catch the Isonade

First, you'll need to wait for a Strange Whirlpool to spawn. Strange Whirlpools randomly spawn across the map in Fisch, and when one spawns, the following server-wide message will appear:

Once the above message appears on your screen, you'll then need to sail around and look for the Strange Whirlpool. They can be found by looking for these beams of light in the ocean:

Next, sail to the base of these beams of light to locate the Strange Whirlpool. Up close, the Strange Whirlpool will look like this:

You'll then need to set up your boat near the Strange Whirlpool. Make sure not to sail into the Strange Whirlpool however, as this will take you to Vertigo - a location where you won't be able to fish for the Isonade.

Once you've set up your boat, you'll then need to cast your rod into the Strange Whirlpool. It's recommended to use the Steady Rod to catch the Isonade (due to its max weight), however any rod with a max weight over 4036 KG can be used. Truffle bait is also the recommended type of bait as it can increase your chances of an catching an Isonade.

Once your rod has been cast, it should look similar to this:

Once you've cast your rod, you'll then need to wait for a fish to bite on your line and reel it in. As other fish can also be caught from Strange Whirlpools, you'll likely need to catch multiple fish before catching an Isonade.
