Fisch: How to Get Resin

In Fisch, Resin is a secret fish with an average weight of 7.9KG and is used to complete the Bubble Mermaid quest. Upon completing the Bubble Mermaid quest (which requires you to collect 3 Resin and 25,000C$), you'll be rewarded with the Water Bubble - a tool used to breathe underwater for extended periods of time.

To get Resin, you'll need to fish at Mushgrove Swamp.

How to Fish for Resin

First, head to Mushgrove Swamp, an island which is found near Moosewood and looks like this:

Alternatively, you can head to these coordinates to find Mushgrove Swamp:

X: 2426, Y: 130, Z: -680

Next, you'll need to head inland at Mushgrove Swamp and find a pool to fish in. Once you've found a pool, you'll need to cast your reel and wait for a fish to bite. Your cast should look something like this:

As the Resin fish has a 0.028% being caught (making it the rarest secret fish to catch), you'll likely need to catch multiple fish before obtaining any Resin.

Tips for catching Resin:

• Fish during the Aurora Borealis event (improves Resin chance to 1/300)
• Use the Heaven’s Rod or other rods with increased luck boosts
• Purchase extra luck from the Merlin NPC (this costs 5,000C$)
• Find a server that already has increased server luck
• Use Weird Algae as bait
