Fisch: How to Get Speed (Glimmersuit) Boots

In Fisch, Speed Boots (also known as Glimmersuit Boots) are an item which, when equipped, grants the user a 2x walking speed boost. They can also be used to increase flying speed for both the glider and advanced glider. To get the Glimmersuit Boots, you'll need to complete the Dr. Crookspine quest.

Step 1: Talk to Dr. Crookspine

To find Dr. Crookspine, you'll need to head to these coordinates:

X: -1923, Y: 227, Z: -532

These coordinates will lead you to an oil rig placed between Roslit Bay and Sunstone Island, known as the Laboratory. The Laboratory looks like this:

Once you've found the Laboratory, you'll need to climb a rope found close to the waterline and next to Shipwright NPC to enter it.

After you've climbed the rope, you'll need to head inside the building on the top floor. Once inside, you'll need to take a right turn twice, which will lead you to Dr. Crookspine's location. He looks like this:

Once you've found Dr. Crookspine, you'll need to press the E key to talk to him. This will start the Dr. Crookspine quest, which will require you to obtain the following 3 items:

• Boots
• Speed Core
• Rocket Fuel

Step 2: Catch the Boots Item

To catch the Boots item, you'll need to fish anywhere in the Ocean. We recommend using your boat to sail out, and then using the Weird Algae bait due to its Universal Luck enhancement.

The Boots are an exotic item with a 2.5% catch chance, meaning you may need to catch multiple other items before obtaining it.

Step 3: Catch the Speed Core Item

To catch the Speed Core item, you'll need to fish anywhere at Sunstone Island. We recommend casting your line from the dock where the Merchant and Shipwright NPCs can be found, and then using the Weird Algae bait due to its Universal Luck enhancement.

The Speed Core is an exotic item with a 3.7% catch chance, meaning you may need to catch multiple other items before obtaining it.

Step 4: Catch the Rocket Fuel Item

To catch the Rocket Fuel item, you'll need to fish anywhere at Mushgrove Swamp. We recommend using the Weird Algae bait due to its Universal Luck enhancement.

Rocket Fuel is an exotic item with a 4.9% catch chance, meaning you may need to catch multiple other items before obtaining it.

Step 5: Return to Dr. Crookspine

Once you've obtained all 3 of the above items, you'll need to return to Dr. Crookspine at the Laboratory. After talking to him again by pressing the E key, he'll then exchange the 3 items you obtained for the Glimmersuit Boots!
