Fisch: How to Get the Crystalized Rod

In Fisch, the Crystalized Rod is a type of fishing rod that has a 20% chance of applying the Crystalized mutation to any fish caught (increasing its value by 3x). This particular rod can also be used to catch Enchant Relics, which are used to unlock the Rod Of The Exalted One.

Note: To get the Crystalized Rod, you'll need to complete the following steps with a minimum of 2 players.

Step 1: Head to the Northern Expedition

First, you'll need to head to the Northern Expedition. To do so, you'll need to head to the Northern Expedition portal, which is found at these coordinates:

X: -1733, Y: 137, Z: 3820

Once you're at those coordinates, the portal will look like this:

Next, once you've entered the portal and been teleported, you'll need to sail towards the Northern Expedition marker seen in the sky:

This marker will lead you to the Northern Expedition island, which looks like this:

Step 2: Catch 2 Glass Diamonds

Once you're at the Northern Expedition, you'll then need to catch 2 Glass Diamonds. Glass Diamonds are a mythical fish that can only be caught at the Northern Expedition.

To find where to catch them, you'll need to head left from the main North Summit dock area, and across the pool with the ladders. You'll then need to climb this ladder:

You'll then need to follow the ladders, until you reach the yellow tent shown below. You'll then need to take the path to the left of the yellow tent:

Next, you'll need to climb the set of ladders, and then turn left into this cavern:

Next, you'll need to head towards this pool in that cavern:

Next, you and one other player will need to fish in this pool until you both have 1 Glass Diamond each (you'll both have a 10-15% chance of catching one, meaning you may need to catch multiple other fish before obtaining one).

Step 3: Head to Overgrowth Caves

Next, once you and one other player have obtained a Glass Diamond each, you'll then need to head to the Overgrowth Caves.

To find the Overgrowth Caves, you'll need to exit the cavern with the pool, and turn left up this ramp:

Next, once you're up the ramp, you'll need to follow the path around the mountain. When you see the Overgrowth Caves message appear on your screen, you'll need to take this ladder to the right:

You'll then need to continue climbing the ladders, and follow this path around the mountain:

You'll then need to follow the path, which will then lead you to this area of the Overgrowth Caves:

Step 4: Place the Glass Diamonds

Once you've arrived at the location shown above, you and the other player will both need to equip your Glass Diamonds. You'll then both need to stand on one of these pedestals each:

When both of you are standing on your own pedestals, an energy beam will be projected from each of your pedestals.

These two energy beams will then melt the ice surrounding the Crystalized Rod. Once the ice melts, you'll then be able to purchase the Crystalized Rod inbetween the pedestals for 35,000C$!
