In Fisch, the Trident Rod is a powerful rod which features two passive abilities. The first of these abilities, known as Atlantean Mutation, raises the chance of any caught fish having the Atlantean Mutation to 30%. The second ability, known as Stabbing Mechanic, allows the rod user to stun any fish caught on the line, increasing the chance of securing valuable catches.
To get the Trident Rod, you'll first need to already have:
- Basic Diving Gear or Advanced Diving Gear (check out our guide here on how to get it)
- 5 Enchant Relics (check out our guide here on how to get them)
- 100% completion on the Desolate Deep Bestiary
- 150,000C$
Once you've got all of the above, you'll need to head to the Tridents Temple found in the Desolate Deep.
How to Find the Tridents Temple in the Desolate Deep
First, you'll need to head to the Desolate Deep. To do so, you'll need to head the following co-ordinates:
X: -791, Y: 142, Z: -3102
Here you'll find a floating buoy, which looks like this:
Once you've located the buoy, you'll need to equip either your Basic or Advanced Diving Gear. You'll then need to then dive below the buoy (towards the sea floor) and look for a deep trench.
Tip: Turn on your game's Higher Brightness
setting to improve visibility when swimming underwater.
Next, whilst swimming down the trench, you'll come across the following warning sign:
Once you've found this sign, you'll need to take a right turn. After turning right, you'll need to turn left after encountering this yellow storage container:
You'll then need to swim along the underwater passageway until you reach the Desolate Deep (indicated by a half-sunken red storage container). If you haven't already reached 100% completion on the Desolate Deep Bestiary, you'll be able to do so in this area.
Next, head to this island found near the center of the Desolate Deep:
Next, head to the edge of this large rock sticking out from the island:
You'll then need to dive off the edge of this rock, and then swim down directly below. Here you'll find a selection of bones. You'll need to then swim between these two smaller rib bones:
Between these two rib bones you'll find a small entrance. You'll then need to swim through the narrow passageway that this entrance leads to (which will eventually require you to swim up towards a surface). This will eventually lead you to a room which looks like this:
Next, walk up to the pedestals shown in the image below, and then press the E
key near each one to place your Enchant Relics. When successfully placed, each pedestal will glow green:
After placing all 5 of your Enchant Relics, a large door in front of the pedestals will open. You'll need to head through this opened door, which will lead you to the Tridents Temple.
Next, walk up to the Trident Rod, found at the furthest end of the Temple:
Next, press the E
key to view and purchase the Trident Rod for 150,000C$:
