Rimuru is a powerful midgame spec in Lineage Piece that is surprisingly easy to acquire for how strong it gets. In this guide, we'll show you where the NPC to unlock this spec is located and how to quickly get all of its requirements.
How to Unlock Rimuru
First, teleport or travel to Fossil Island. You'll find the Rimuru NPC on the edge of the island, just a short distance away from Muzan.
Requirements for Rimuru
To buy the Rimuru spec, you will need the following:
- 5,000,000 Coins
- 10,000 Gems
- 10 Slime Essence
- 7 Slime Core
- 1 Shizu Mask
- Slime Race
All of the items drop from the Rimuru boss, which is also spawned on Fossil Island.
Spawning the Rimuru Boss
Before you can spawn the Rimuru Boss, you must farm at least 3 Slime Orbs. These can be farmed by killing the level 2,000 Hollow enemies in Hueco Mundo.
Rimuru can be spawned by speaking with the Slime Summoner, who is standing near Sung Jinwoo's spawn location on Fossil Island. You will need to pay him 3 Slime Orbs for each attempt.
As long as the summoner has at least 3 orbs, Rimuru will replace Sung Jinwoo in his spawn location. The boss has a respawn timer of 90 seconds, and he will keep respawning in the place of Sung Jinwoo if the summoner has enough orbs to keep going.
The required items for Rimuru's spec have the following estimated drop rates (varies based on Luck stat):
- Slime Essence - 15%
- Slime Core - 10%
- Shizu Mask - 1.25%
Getting the Slime Race
The Slime race can be acquired by using the Slime item that the Rimuru boss drops. This item has a small chance of changing your race, so you may need to farm a lot of them if you're unlucky.
Keep using the Slime item until you see the following message pop up on your screen: Absorption success, you have become a slime
