How to Find All Red Buttons in Mini War - Easter Egg Guide

Push them and uncover some cool people!

If you've been playing Mini War for a while now, then you've probably noticed some red buttons in seemingly random locations. There's a reason for their existence, and pushing all of them unveils a few easter eggs throughout the map.

In this guide, we'll show you where every single button can be found, how they work, and what you'll get after pushing them.

Where to Find All the Red Buttons

Before we begin, it should be noted that you can push buttons in any order, but we'll show you an order that makes sense to speed things up.

Whenever you find and push a button, you'll briefly see a counter at the top of your screen. This will show you how many buttons you've pressed (e.g. it'll say "1/5" if you've only gotten one).

IMPORTANT: Your progress will reset every time you leave the game, so push them all in one session!

Red Button #1 - Middle of the Map

The easiest red button to find is in the middle of the map, where the largest NPC base is located. You don't need to capture it, just check between the skyscrapers near the flag.

Red Button #2 - Under the Map

After pushing the first button, stand on the road between the two sets of buildings in this base. Face the opposite exit, at the side where there are no buildings.

While facing this way, run all the way forward up until you reach the end of the map. You'll pass by a base (could be yours depending on the server) and an oil rig along the way.

Stop at the very edge, then turn your camera so that you can see under the map. You'll find the second red button down there.

Red Button #3 - Near the Shop

After the second button, teleport to the shop area. From there, walk along the beach towards the direction where the Shopkeeper is.

Stick close to the sand wall just under the grass, as the button may not render unless you're close enough. Eventually, you'll find the red button along the sand.

Red Button #4 - Under the Oil Rig

Next, teleport back to the shop area. From the direction of the Tradesman, run to the second base in that direction, and proceed to the oil rig right behind it.

Walk under the oil rig, then turn your camera upwards. You should see the 4th button on the bottom part of the structure.

Red Button #5 - Along the Grassy Edges

Finally, from the previous location (the oil rig), run back towards the grass, but stop just before actually touching it. Follow the edges while walking towards the direction of the next oil rig further up.

Eventually, you should see a small red button along the grass wall. It's very small, so you might have to keep your camera zoomed in to render it.

People Appear on the Map

Upon pushing the fifth button, you'll see a message saying: Some people appeared on the map...

With that, you should notice that a bunch of NPCs and other small easter eggs will suddenly show up all around the map. Some easy ones to find include a pair of NPCs behind the shops.

Talking to some of them will yield humorous dialogue, and most are basically references to the game's creator or other contributors.

NOTE: These NPCs will disappear if you change servers. You can always push them again if you want them to pop back up!

A Secret Code

While the event related to it is over, pushing all the buttons will also reveal an Egg Head NPC in one edge of the map, far from the shop area.

The Egg Head guy in Mini War

This NPC was part of a special event, where the first 1,000 or so players to interact with him will receive a special reward. Everyone else who interacted with him after that will get a code for 100 gems, which was unique for each player.

You can still try to ask him for the code by clicking the WHAT IS THE CODE???? dialogue choice, but you will only be told that the event is over.

You may find information online that this NPC can be asked multiple times and has a 1% chance to drop a code, but this is false. The developer has already confirmed that this feature has expired, so the buttons and this NPC are basically just easter eggs now.
