Slap Battles: How to Get the Frostbite Glove

In Slap Battles, the Frostbite Glove is a badge-required glove that features the exclusive "Ice Age" ability. When activated, this ability can be used to spawn a radius of ice around the glove user, causing any players caught in it to freeze in place for 7 seconds. To obtain it, you'll need to earn the Ice Essence badge.

How to Get the Ice Essence Badge to Get the Frostbite Glove

First, you'll need to equip the Shard Glove (check out our guide here on how to obtain it). You'll also need two other players. One of these players will need one of the following gloves equipped:

• Ice
• Iceskate
• Mitten

The other player will need to already have the Frostbite Glove equipped. Once all three of you have the correct gloves equipped, you'll need to enter the regular Slap Battles arena.

Once in the arena, you'll need the glove user with either the Ice, Iceskate or Mitten Glove equipped to activate their ability, causing you to become frozen. Once you're frozen, you'll then need the Frostbite Glove user to activate their ability, causing you to become frozen in their radius of ice. Doing this successfully will then teleport your character to the Ice Trials.

Once you've been teleported to the Ice Trials, you'll be faced with three different challenges you'll need to complete:

• Glass Bridge
• Ice Obby
• High Ground

How to Complete Ice Bridge

Ice Bridge consists of 16 glass platforms, with 8 placed on each side. When stepped on, half of these platforms will break, whereas the other half will stay in place supporting your character. To complete the challenge, you'll need to make it across the ice bridge without falling into the void.

Although every ice bridge is unique to each player, any glass broken will remain broken for the next time you try.

How to Complete Ice Obby

Much like other obbies, the Ice Obby features a serious of obstacles you'll need to overcome. However, due to the entire obby being covered in ice, your character will have higher chances of slipping with every movement. Using shift lock can help reduce your chances of slipping.

How to Complete High Ground

The final challenge, known as High Ground, features a serious of ice-themed obstacles that increase in altitude as you progress. To improve your chances of completing this section, you'll need to use the momentum created by sliding on the ice to jump across larger gaps.

At the end of the High Ground section, you'll find the Ice Essence:

You'll then need to hold down the E key to pick it up. Doing so will award your character with the Ice Essence badge and the Frostbite Glove!
