Becoming a demon is the only way you can experience using some of the best Demon Arts in Slayers 2, which have devastating abilities that can overwhelm even some of the best Breathing Style users in the game.
To help you fulfill that power fantasy, this guide will show you everything you need to know to become a demon, including where to find Muzan and some tips to help you throughout the process.
How to Become a Demon
Initial Requirements
Before you can transform into a demon, you first need to have at least -40 reputation. You can drop this low by killing random civilians or slayers, all of which reduce your reputation by varying amounts.
The fastest way to reach -40 is by killing Mizunotos, which can be found in the western part of Mistfall Harbor. These NPCs are easy to kill and will grant you -9 reputation each.
Once you have at least -40 reputation, you can now speak with Muzan to start the demon quest.
Where to Find Muzan
IMPORTANT: Muzan only shows up at night, and he'll be walking back and forth in the area he spawns in!
Once you're eligible to become a demon, you must now find and talk to Muzan.
Muzan's current location will be highlighted on your screen if you have the Muzan and Spider Lily Locator game pass. Here's what his icon looks like:
He can spawn in various locations, and here is a table showing you his most common spots:

Upon speaking with Muzan, he'll give you the Biwa Bell item. Ring this and you'll be sent to Muzan's Lair, where you must speak with him to start the required quest.
How to Complete the "Muzan Quest"
Muzan's quest is deceptively hard, and we'll go over the steps in their own subsections.
Step 1 - Collect 9 Spider Lilies
Spider Lilies spawn all around the Bamboo Grove area, and they come in both blue and red variants. These will only spawn at night, so you must be quick in finding and collecting them if you want to be done ASAP.
You don't have to collect all 9 in a single night, but it will definitely save you a lot of time.
Step 2 - Deliver Dr. Higoshima
To find Dr. Higoshima, find the red exclamation point icon on your screen. Follow it to reach his location, or refer to the map image below to see exactly where he is:
You'll need to climb a lot of cliffs to get there, so you'll need to stop and rest every now and then to recover stamina. Once you get there, you need to "capture" him by holding the interact button, which will put Dr. Higoshima on your character's back.
WARNING: As soon as you pick up Dr. Higoshima, A group of Mizunotos will constantly spawn at your location and attack you. You do NOT need to fight them!
Upon picking up Dr. Higoshima, rush towards the white arrow on your screen, which will lead you directly to the west. Avoid the Mizunotos and keep running until you reach the marked location, which is to the west of Windy Peak.
Step on the glowing blue circle to complete this part of the quest!
Step 3 - Drinking the Blood
Upon delivering the doctor, you will immediately receive Muzan's Blood. Simply click to use it and watch as your character transforms into a demon!
Once the animation is complete, you will also be rewarded with a permanent Biwa Bell that will let you visit Muzan any time you need to speak with him.
How to Get Demon Arts
Upon becoming a demon, you still need to acquire a Demon Art to get a brand new set of abilities. You mainly do this by:
- Spinning at Muzan's Lair (costs Robux or Ore)
- Getting an orb as a drop from any boss/chest
Chests that bosses drop all have a small chance of dropping any orb (1-2% rate for each). It's completely doable at any level, as even the weakest bosses (e.g. Zuko and Mother Bear) can give you an equal shot at getting one.
