Sound Breathing is generally considered to be one of the best breathing styles in Slayers 2, especially with the right build and the Uzui clan.

Obtaining it can be grueling, especially given the trainer's location. To help you out, this guide will show you everything you need to know to obtain it, as well as any tips to make unlocking it easier.

You must be at least level 25 to unlock this breathing style!

Sound Breathing Trainer's Location

The Sound Breathing trainer is located on the rock formation in the middle of the lake in Iceveil Valley. You need to climb it from the left side as all the resting spots to recover stamina are on that part of the rock.

It is highly recommended to bring a lot of health potions if you don't have an Emberheart Lantern. The cold damage will kill you before you reach the trainer if you aren't prepared.

Once at the top of the rock, make your way to the right side, where you'll find Sound Trainer Tengai near the edge.

Preventing Cold Damage

While in Iceveil Valley, you'll start taking cold damage every second if you aren't prepared for the region's climate. You can use campfires along the way to regenerate health.

While standing beside them, you won't take cold damage as you gain a temporary Cold Immunity buff.

Emberheart Lanterns - The Yeti Boss

You may also equip an Emberheart Lantern, which is dropped by the Yeti Demon boss. You'll first need Frozen Hearts for this, which drop from rare chests or are purchased from the Black Marketer.

Once you have a Frozen Heart, enter the waterfall under Butterfly Estate and make your way to the frozen part of the cave at the end. There, you can use the Frozen Heart to unfreeze the Yeti Demon.

It has a 25% chance of dropping the Emberheart Lantern, so you may have to repeat this several times if you're unlucky.

Sound Breathing Training Quest

Upon starting the Sound Breathing Training quest, you will be tasked with doing the following:

  • Push ups - Circles will show up on your screen. Click them whenever their inner ring touches or gets close to their outer ring.
  • Barbell Squats - Hold or let go of the mouse to keep the grey square in the moving bar.
  • Boulder Split - Bars will pop up on the screen. Drag their gray circles into their green circles.
  • Cup Training - A ball will be placed in one of three cups, then they are shuffled. Pick the cup with the ball inside.
  • Underwater Rocks - Swim around the Bamboo Grove and pick up 5 glowing Sea Crystals.
  • Defeat the Sound Trainee

All of these tasks, except the last two, are minigames that can be done at the Butterfly Estate, which is very close to the starting zone (Windy Peak):

As for the Underwater Rocks task, you must swim around in the Bamboo Grove area. Although it is blurry underwater, the Sea Crystals that you need to pick up will start glowing as you approach them.

The Sound Trainee mini-boss is your final task, and he is located a very short distance away from the Iceveil Settlement shrine. Be careful here, as you will be vulnerable to cold damage while fighting him.
