How to Get the Nightfall Katana in Slayers 2

The Nightfall Katana is one of the strongest weapons in Slayers 2, and if you plan on playing as a slayer, then you'll want to work towards getting it as early as possible. It'll be a massive boost to your account, especially when paired with one of the best breathing styles in the game.

To help you get it ASAP, we'll guide you through the entire process of obtaining it from start to finish, beginning with the schematic itself.

NOTE: This guide will also show you how to unlock the Nichirin Forge, since you'll need it for this process anyway.

Where to Find the Nightfall Katana Schematic

Before you can get the Nightfall Katana, you'll first need to find its schematic. It's located in a cave hidden behind the waterfall at Mistfall Harbor, specifically between the bridges leading to the Forgotten Ruins.

Once there, dive into the water and swim towards the waterfall. You'll find an opening under the waterfall, which leads to a secret cave:

Inside the cave, there's a small platform that you can climb to. Above it is a katana frozen in a block of ice. Interact with it to receive the Nightfall Katana Schematic.

Crafting the Nightfall Katana

Getting the schematic is the easy part, as getting the Nightfall Katana itself will require significant grinds. First, you'll need a Mythic V2 katana.

We highly recommend the Volcanic Katana for this step, as it's a fantastic weapon in its own right, and it'll help you grind for the materials needed to get the Nightfall Katana later on.

How to Get a Volcanic Katana

To get a Volcanic Katana, you'll need to acquire a Flame Katana first. This is dropped by Rengu, the Flame Hashira boss that spawns in the Forgotten Ruins.

This weapon has a drop rate of 5%, so you may need to farm him for a while. Server hopping may help speed up the process, as long as you set your spawn nearby.

Crafting a Volcanic Katana

This step requires you to be at least level 65 first!

Once you have a Flame Katana, head to the Hidden Mist Village and speak with Blacksmith Togane, who is at the tall building on the northern part of the village.

Ask him about his other forge by clicking "Your other forge" and he'll point you towards Ouwigahara. Accept the quest to open the portal.

The portal is located in the Forgotten Ruins, at the bridge past the Flame Breathing trainer's location. Simply run across the bridge until you see the portal at the end, then enter it.

Once inside, you'll find the blacksmith at the Nichirin Forge, which is where you can craft V2 Mythic weapons.

Speak with him to craft the Volcanic Katana, which will require the following materials:

• 500 Metal Scraps
• 300 Silk Thread
• 10 Mythic Refinement Ores
• 90,000 Dungeon Points

Making Your Nightfall Katana

Once you have your V2 weapon of choice (in this case, the Volcanic Katana), return to the blacksmith in the Hidden Mist Village. There, you'll now have the option to craft the Nightfall Katana.

For this, you'll need the following materials:

• Nightfall Katana Schematic
• V2 Katana of choice
• 500 Metal Scraps
• 500 Silk Thread
• 500,000 Wen

Once you're done, congratulations! You now have your very own Nightfall Katana, which has a huge damage modifier and is a massive boost for any slayer who wants to grind endgame content or do some ranked PVP.
