Wind Breathing is a niche style in Slayers 2, and it has the potential to be really powerful in the right hands, especially with a build that compensates for its weaknesses.
Getting Wind Breathing can be a bit annoying, especially since the trainer is in an inconvenient spot. To make the process easier, this guide will show you exactly where to go, what you need to get beforehand, and everything you need to do to unlock it.
You must be at least level 25 before you can learn this breathing style!
Wind Breathing Trainer's Location
The Wind Breathing trainer can be found in the far north, on a floating block of ice in Iceveil Settlement. You'll have to swim through freezing water to find him, so we recommend bringing a lot of health potions before you get there.

Make your way to the marked location on the map above and you'll eventually find a block of ice that you can stand on. Wind Trainer Saneri will be standing in the middle of the ice.

Preventing Cold Damage
In Iceveil Valley, you'll find campfires spread out around the region. Standing beside one of these will give you temporary immunity to the cold, letting you regenerate HP naturally. Use these to safely get close to the trainer's location.

Emberheart Lantern - The Yeti Demon
You can equip an Emberheart Lantern for permanent cold immunity. This is dropped by the Yeti Demon boss, which requires a Frozen Heart to spawn. Frozen Hearts are dropped from rare chests or bought from the Black Marketer.
To find the Yeti Demon, head inside the waterfall under the Butterfly Estate. The last part of the cave houses the Frozen Yeti, which can be awakened with a Frozen Heart.

It's a tough boss with a 25% chance to drop an Emberheart Lantern, so be ready to farm it several times. It's recommended to do this with a group, as a single fight can take a long time if you're doing it solo.

Requirements for Wind Breathing
Before the trainer agrees to teach you Wind Breathing, you must have the following materials:
- 5,000 Wen - You can grind quests for this if you don't have enough
- 50 Demon Horns - Best farmed by killing Hoyuzo Subordinates

Wind Breathing Training Quest
Once you have all the requirements ready and have spoken with Wind Trainer Saneri, you'll get the Wind Breathing Training quest. This requires you to do the following tasks in the order they're given:
- Push ups - Circles will pop up on the screen. You have to click them whenever their inner ring touches or is close to their outer ring.
- Boulder Split - Swipe the bars that appear by dragging the gray circle to the green circle.
- Boulder Push - Upon starting the minigame, bring the boulder to the white arrow that shows up on your screen.
- Aim Training - Click on every target that appears on the board.
- Meditate - Click whenever the moving yellow line goes over the blue bar.
- Defeat the Wind Trainee
Almost all of these minigames are done at or near the Butterfly Estate, which is close to the starting zone (Windy Peak). Complete them all and prepare to fight the Wind Breathing Trainee.

The Wind Trainee can be found on the far left part of Iceveil Settlement. If you don't have an Emberheart Lantern, make sure to heal up at a campfire before you start the fight!

Once you've defeated the Wind Trainee, you should now have the Wind Breathing branch in your Skill Tree. You are now ready to work towards unlocking its moveset!

Wind Breathing's Abilities
Here is the full moveset for Wind Breathing:
Ability | Hotkey | Description |
|---|---|---|
Mountain Wind | Z | An upward slash that sends the enemy into the air, followed by a downward attack that slams your target back to the ground. |
Purifying Claws | X | A downward attack that sends four slashes at the target. If it lands, you can use it again to teleport to the target for a second Purifying Claws hit. |
Rising Dust Storm | C | At long range, the user unleashes a cyclone that travels towards the target location. If used at short range, the cyclone is instead summoned on top of the user, dealing damage around them. |
Whirlwind Cutter | V | An upward slash that stuns your opponent, followed by a second slash that knocks them back. If held, the user instead charges forward like a drilling cyclone, followed by a finisher that knocks back the target. |
Idaten Typhoon | B | At long range, the user fires large slicing gusts of wind and then teleports to the target for a final devastating blow. The close-range variant is a cutscene move with a similar attack. |
