Since Roblox's inception in 2006, the game has continued to grow year-on-year with millions of players currently on the gaming platform. With such a large playerbase, it's no surprise that many players have wondered about how many players really are on the platform. Although the number is constantly increasing, with new players joining every day, there are ways to estimate the current total playerbase.
How Many Accounts Are There?
To work out the total number of accounts on Roblox, you'll need to look at the ID of the most recently created account. User IDs are generated whenever a new account is created, and the value is created by increasing the last created user ID by 1. You'll then need to take away 133 million from that value, as Roblox skipped 133 million IDs when converting from 32 to 64 bit user IDs.
As of March 2023, there are over 4.3 billion user IDs. This means there are at least 4.3 billion unique Roblox accounts currently signed up on the platform. That's a lot of accounts!
How Many Active Players Are There?
A more accurate way of determining how many players really use their accounts on Roblox, is through working out the total active player count. These are the players regularly using their account to use Roblox's platform. Towards the end of 2022, Roblox had around 60 million daily active users. This means that 60 million unique players were using the Roblox platform daily! Around the same time, Roblox also had around 200 million monthly users.
