How Many People Play Roblox?

Taking the role as one of the most popular online games in today's gaming environment, Roblox has attracted millions of players to its platform, and continues to add to that number every day

It might be surprising to hear, but at its inception in 2004 - when the game was just getting started - it only attracted 12 new players to the platform. That quickly changed, though, as the number continued to increase over the coming years. Over 13 million unique users had joined the platform by the end of 2010.

Looking at the more recent figures, 13 million (the 2010 figure) starts to seem tiny. In late 2019, Roblox's total unique player count surpassed the 1 billion mark. The game continued to pass several more billion-mark milestones over the next few years, and in 2022 reached over 4 billion users on the platform. 2022 was also the first year that attracted over 1 billion new players to the game (that's about 26 new users per second!). The game's daily active viewer count has also increased over the past few years, with over 58 million having used the platform in quarter three of 2022!
