How to Copy and Paste on Roblox

Chat messages are important when it comes to communication in Roblox. They allow you to send all kinds of messages to other players, and also allow you character to perform a range of different emotes. However, when it comes to sending messages, typing out each letter out individually can be time-consuming. Luckily, Roblox allows you to copy and paste messages to help you save time, which can be better spent playing all of your favorite Roblox games!

How to Copy and Paste on PC and Mac

To copy and paste on PC, first find the text you want to copy. Next, highlight the text you want to copy, which can be done by clicking and dragging your cursor over your text:

Next, copy your text. This can be done through right-clicking the highlighted text, and then left clicking the Copy button:

You can also copy your highlighted text by pressing the CTRL and C keys simultaneously on your keyboard for Windows users. On Mac however, you'll need to press the COMMAND and C at the same time to copy your text.

Once the text has been copied, head over to the chatbox where you want to paste your text. You can find the chatbox in the top left corner of the Roblox window:

To paste your text into the chatbox, click on the To chat click here or press the "/" key box where you'd normally input your message. Then:

• On Windows, press the CTRL and V keys simultaneously
• On Mac, press the COMMAND and V keys at the same time

Once your text has been pasted, all you need to do is press the Enter key to send your message!

How to Copy and Paste on Android and iOS

Android

To copy and paste on Android devices, first highlight your desired text. To do this, you'll need to hold your finger down on the text until it turns light blue. Once highlighted, tap the Copy button to copy your text:

Next, open the chatbox in your Roblox game, which can be done by tapping the Tap here to chat box in the top left corner of your screen:

Once the chatbox has been opened, hold your finger down within the box, and then tap the paste button:

Once your text has been pasted, all you need to do is tap the send button to send your message!

iOS

To copy and paste on iOS devices (for example iPhones and iPads), first highlight your desired text. To do this, hold your finger down on the text until it turns light blue. Once highlighted, tap the Copy button to copy your text:

Next, open the chatbox in your Roblox game, which can be done by tapping the Tap here to chat box in the top left corner of your screen:

Once the chatbox has been opened, hold your finger down within the box, and then tap the paste button:

Once your text has been pasted, all you need to do is tap the send button to send your message!
