More Blox Fruits Guides

Raiding is the main way to awaken your fruits in Blox Fruits, and knowing how to start and complete them will be vital to your progress in the game, especially at higher levels.

To help you out, this guide will show you exactly how to start raids, what's the easiest to complete, and some tips on how to finish them with ease.

Requirements to Raid

There aren't any quests that you need to complete before you can start or join a raid. To get started with raids, all you need to do is meet the following requirements:

  • Have access to the Second Sea (Check out our island order guide to know where to go next if you're still in the First Sea)
  • Be at least level 1,100 (If you plan on hosting)
  • At least $100,000 or an unwanted physical fruit

Where to Start or Join Raids

Once you have all of the requirements above, head to the ice segment of Hot and Cold. There, you'll find a giant laboratory that you can enter:

Inside, you'll find a set of four large screens. To reach the raid lobby, you must input the following color code on the screens: Red, Blue, Green, Blue

To cycle through the colors on the screens, click the long button below each of them.

Unequip your weapon/style/fruit when doing this, as the buttons won't work if you click on them while having something equipped!

Once you have the correct code on the screens, turn around. The door at the opposite end of the lab, near the entrance, should now be open:

Proceed through the door and follow the hallway until the end. You'll eventually find yourself in a room with a lot of giant tubes and a Mysterious Scientist NPC. This is the raid lobby.

How to Start Raids

If you're hosting the raid, you must be at least level 1,100. This will let you purchase a Special Microchip from the Mysterious Scientist, which costs $100,000 or a single physical fruit (must be held).

Alternatively, you can also purchase Advanced Raid Microchips if you meet certain requirements for the following fruits:

  • Dough Fruit - Defeat the Dough King and receive a Red Key.
  • Phoenix Fruit - Have 400 Phoenix mastery and heal the Sick Scientist in Cake Land.

You can only buy them for money every 2 hours! The physical fruit option has no cooldown.

You have a choice of either Normal or Advanced raid from the Mysterious Scientist, and the current options include the following:

Raid Type

Price

Raids Available

Normal

$100,000 or any physical fruit

Flame
Sand
Ice
Light
Dark
Magma
Quake
Spider
Buddha

Advanced

1,000 Fragments or any physical fruit worth $1,000,000+

Dough
Phoenix

With a Microchip in your inventory, step into the dark blue tube and then press the green button on the console ahead of you. You will then be teleported to the raid instance, consuming the Microchip in the process.

Make sure you aren't holding anything before pressing the button, as it won't let you click it otherwise (same as the screens earlier).

Joining Raids

If you'd like to join somebody else's raid, you must be on the same team. Before the raid starts, anyone who wants to join must step into the different colored tubes in the same row as the dark blue one.

Up to 4 players can be in any given raid. People who aren't hosting do not have to be level 1,100 to join the raid, so you can technically farm fragments and awakenings earlier than intended if you have a team.

Completing a Raid

Raids are conceptually very simple, and the difficulty mainly comes from the toughness of the enemies you'll face. Here's a quick summary of the gameplay loop in a raid:

Step 1. Kill All Enemies

WARNING: There is a 15-minute timer for the entire raid, so move quickly!

As soon as you spawn in, enemies will start swarming you. Kill them all as quickly as possible until the game stops spawning new waves.

Keep an eye out for red diamonds on your screen, since some enemies may waste your time by getting stuck behind walls.

Step 2. Move to the Next Island

After clearing an island, you must then move to the next one that will appear across the sea. A free boat will spawn, which you and your group can use if you need it.

Step 3. Repeat Steps 1 & 2 Until You Reach Island 5

Keep clearing enemies and moving on to the next island until you reach the last one (Island 5). Enemies will get progressively stronger as you move to the next island, as fruit users based on the raid's theme will start spawning.

For example, you'll start fighting enemies with Buddha forms and massive knockback while doing a Buddha raid.

Step 4. Beat the Final Boss

Finally, at the last island, you'll face a boss that will use moves from the awakened version of the fruit that the raid is based on.

For example, the Flame raid boss will start throwing Hell's Core at you, which is the Awakened Flame's V move.

Step 5. Awaken Moves (Optional)

If you're using the same fruit as the raid (e.g. Buddha in Buddha raid), you will be teleported to a special location after killing the boss.

There, you'll find a Mysterious Entity who will offer to awaken individual moves at the cost of fragments, which you also earn for completing raids.

If you don't have the same fruit as the raid, you'll simply spawn back into the main server.

The Easiest Raid in the Game

There isn't much difference in difficulty between the raids, but in terms of farming, the Flame Raid is generally seen as the easiest one because of the fruit's abilities.

The fruit users in this raid are extremely easy to dodge and/or tank, and the boss isn't particularly difficult either due to its slow ability wind-ups. Just avoid the lava and you'll be fine.

If you're soloing and still relatively new to raids, Awakened Buddha is a fantastic choice due to its balance between strong DPS and survivability.
