Fisch: How to Get Abyssal Relics

In Fisch, Abyssal Relics are a type of Enchant Relic that are needed to obtain the Rod of the Depths. It is currently one of the hardest item to obtain in the game (especially if you're a beginner).

Method 1: Enchanting Enchant Relics

The best way to get Abyssal Relics is through enchanting regular Enchant Relics. There are currently two main methods of obtaining Enchant Relics:

• Catching them when fishing (1 in 500 chance of being caught)
• Purchasing them from Merlin at Sunstone Island for 11,000C$ (you must be at least level 30)

Next, once you've acquired some regular Enchant Relics, you'll need to head to the Enchant Atar found at the Statue of Sovereignty (check out our guide here on how to find it).

Once you're at the Enchant Altar, you'll need to enchant your Enchant Relics. As enchanting does not guarantee an Abyssal Relic, you may need to enchant several Enchant Relics before obtaining one.

Method 2: Fishing for Abyssal Relics

Another way of obtaining Abyssal Relics is through fishing for them. The chance to catch an Abyssal Relic is extremely low however - to improve your chances, it's recommended to fish for them during a Mutation Surge event.

Method 3: Appraising Enchant Relics

Another way of obtaining Abyssal Relics is through appraising regular Enchant Relics. This method also has a very low chance of giving you an Abyssal Relic.

Appraising is is a process which costs 450C$ to perform. To appraise a regular regular Enchant Relic, first head to Moosewood island, and look for this stall to the left of the Merchant:

Once you've found the appraisal stall, you'll need to equip your regular Enchant Relic and press the E key to talk to the Appraiser:

Next, select option 1: ["Can you appraise this fish? [450C$]"]

You will now have successfully appraised your Enchant Relic! As an appraisal doesn't guarantee an Abyssal Relic, you'll most likely have to appraise multiple Enchant Relics before obtaining an Abyssal one.
