Enchant Relics are rare items that you'll need to farm in order to give your rods a massive boost in Fisch, and stocking up on them can be a pain if you don't know the dedicated methods to acquire them.
Technically, you can get Enchant Relics at a fixed chance (1 in 350) by fishing at any location. Luck doesn't change this outside of a few exceptions.
To help you speed up the grind, this guide will show you all the best fishing spots, rods, and other tips to help you stock up on Enchant Relics as fast as possible.
Best Fishing Spot to Get Enchant Relics - The Depths
The absolute best location to farm Enchant Relics is in The Depths, which you can access by entering Vertigo via a Strange Whirlpool that spawns at random spots on the ocean.
It's the only place in the game where Enchant Relics consistently have a luck-based catch rate. This means that having a high luck multiplier will net you a ton of relics in no time.

The Relic Construct, which is one of the best companions in Fisch, will also grant a 2x catch rate bonus for Enchant Relics
Accessing The Depths
If you haven't entered The Depths before, sail around the ocean and look for a whirlpool with a line extending out into the sky. Here's an example of two Strange Whirlpools spawning beside each other:

If you haven't entered The Depths yet, try to catch an Isonade (Mythical fish) by fishing at the Strange Whirlpool itself before entering. You need this to get past the first area of Vertigo.
Jump into the Strange Whirlpool and you'll be sent straight to an area called Vertigo's Dip. Jump to the very bottom and start fishing until you complete the Bestiary. A few notes to help you out:
- You need Crab Cages to catch the common Night Shrimp
- Isonades, as mentioned earlier, are caught at the Strange whirlpool rather than in the area.
- Magnet bait can help you catch The Depths Key

Once you have a complete Bestiary, which includes The Depths Key, talk to The Keeper sitting beside the giant lock in Vertigo's Dip where all the red crystal are located. The gate will open, revealing the path to The Depths.

Once you're in The Depths, you can start fishing anywhere in the area. While here, luck will affect your catch rate for Enchant Relics, so having a decent rod, buffs, and weather events will help you get plenty in no time.
Use totems or hop servers to stack up effects like the Aurora Borealis, Sovereign events, and maybe even pop a luck potion if you have one.
Buy a Traveler's Whistle from the Travelling Merchant for easier access to The Depths after unlocking it. You'll no longer need to find a Strange Whirlpool once you do!

Best Rods for Enchant Relics
The best rods you can use while fishing at The Depths will be whatever you have that has the highest luck multiplier. Aside from that, here are a few recommendations:
Rod | Reason |
|---|---|
Rod of the Exalted One | At Mastery 3, it has a 40% chance to give you an Enchant Relic after every 8 catches. |
MiguRod | It gives a 9% chance to get an Enchant Relic after every 3 catches. |
Rod of the Depths | Guaranteed to give you an extra fish every 3 catches, and this has a 10% chance to be an Enchant Relic |

Best Bait to Use
Enchant Relics do not have a preferred bait. However, those with Universal Luck, like the Weird Algae and Coral Pearl, will work wonders in The Depths as they can further boost your chances of reeling a relic in.
Generally, you'll be fine grinding it out without any bait as long as you're in The Depths.

Other Ways to Farm Enchant Relics
If you want to take a break from grinding in The Depths, there are a few other ways to get Enchant Relics that you can try, some of which are more passive.
Method #1. Buying From Merlin
Merlin, who lives on Sunstone Island, can also sell you Enchant Relics at 11,000 C$ each. Simply speak to him and click "I need power.".
He will then offer to sell you Enchant Relics either individually or in bulk:

Method #2. Angler Quests
Anglers can be found on various islands, and they can give you repeatable quests that involve catching a random fish from the Bestiary of whichever location they're on.
These quests have a roughly 16% chance to reward you with an Enchant Relic, and you can keep doing them every couple of minutes.

Method #3. Personal Aquarium
Your Personal Aquarium can also be a decent source of Enchant Relics, especially once you've unlocked multiple slots in it. To access it, click the Aquariums button on the top part of the screen.

Enchant Relics have a pretty low chance to drop every hour, but the Aquarium is a completely passive thing that works while offline. Place your rarest fish in it and watch as you get a handful of Enchant Relics and other valuables for free.

How to Get Mutated Enchant Relics
At some point, you'll need stuff like a Chaotic Enchant Relic, and it's not always clear how you're supposed to do this. Basically, your only choices are to either trade with others or use the exact rod and/or enchantment that grants that mutation.
For example, Chaotic Enchant Relics are usually only be acquired by fishing with a rod that has the Chaotic enchantment. The Depths can help with this, but you'll have to contend with the enchantment's 12% mutation rate.
Hexed and Abyssal Enchant Relics, on the other hand, can be acquired through the Appraiser. Prepare a lot of cash and hop servers until you find one with an ongoing Mutation Surge, then start spamming appraisals until you get them.
There is an Appraiser in Moosewood, the starting town.
