Fisch: Seasons Guide (Time Rotations and Multipliers)

Every season is ripe for fishing!

More Fisch Guides

Seasons are an integral part of Fisch, as they can drastically affect the rarity of all the fish you can catch. In this guide, we'll go over all the seasons you'll experience in the game, what they do, and when they start.

What Are Seasons?

Just like in real life, there are four seasons in the game: Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. During any given season, fish that prefer the current conditions have a 25% higher chance to spawn, while everything else gets a 15% debuff.

For example, anchovies prefer Spring, so they'll be more common during that season. Some fish can also have multiple preferences, such as the red snapper, which loves both Summer and Autumn.

You can check a fish's preference by opening your Bestiary and clicking on any entry. You will find their seasonal preferences, if any, under their other attributes (Bait, Weather, Time, etc.):

With a Seasons Rod equipped, the seasonal buff is increased by 40%. There are also varying multipliers for fish that get the Seasonal mutation, and you can learn more about that in our guide on all mutations in Fisch.

How Often Do Seasons Change?

Seasons change roughly every 9 hours and 36 minutes, and players have no way to control this manually. Even with mechanics that can speed up the passage of time in the server, like using a Sundial Totem, the timer for seasons is strictly tied to real-world hours. This means that you'll always miss out on one season each day.

The current season is also shared across every server, so you can't hop to a different session for a chance to play under different conditions. To check the current season, simply log into the game and check the lower right corner of the screen, above your level:
