How to Get Dio The World & Over Heaven in Legacy Piece

Dio offers one of the best specs in Legacy Piece, and his stand can be upgraded further for a massive power spike. To help you harness this power, we'll show you everything you need to know in order to obtain both The World and its stronger Over Heaven version.

How to Unlock The World

Before you can get Over Heaven, you must unlock the regular version of The World. To do this, you'll first need to meet the following requirements:

• Have the Joestar clan equipped
• $5,000,000

Once you have these, head to Ruin City. There, you'll find Dio standing on a burning building just ahead of the teleporter. Speak with him and press "Forge the arrow" to begin the questline.

This will start the questline for The World. Let's go over each quest in the chain:

Quest #1 - Survive 5 Full Defy Fate Awakenings in Combat

The first quest is to trigger and survive a Defy Fate activation 5 times while in combat. This is a passive exclusive to the Joestar clan, which activates when you take a lot of damage repeatedly.

Find a strong boss that you can survive against, and let them hit you until you see a gold aura around your character. You'll have to remain in combat while waiting for the gold aura to disappear.

We recommend fighting a boss that's in normal mode. You can safely kite it and keep yourself in combat long enough to finish a Defy Fate activation if you have ranged attacks.

Quest #2 - Slay 25 Special Bosses While Defy Fate Burns

This time, you'll need to actually kill the boss while Defy Fate is active. We recommend fighting more normal mode bosses so that you can kill it in time.

Defy Fate lasts for around 1 minute!

Let them hit you to trigger Defy Fate, then immediately start attacking the boss with everything you've got. You'll need to do this 25 times, so you may want to camp a boss spawner.

Quest #3 - Defeat 20 Lvl 15,000+ Bosses Without Dying

This quest is a simple grind, so find a Lvl 15,000+ boss that you can reliably farm and start killing them over and over again.

The Infernal Ambusher (Lvl 16,000) that you can spawn in Ruin City can be a good way to do this without spending Boss Tickets.

Quest #4 - Collect 30 Broken Stand Arrow Fragments

For the next quest, you'll need 30 Broken Stand Arrow Fragments, which you can only obtain by killing Dio himself. You can spawn him at the Sacrifice Table in Ruin City.

Each kill is guaranteed to drop one fragment, and each attempt will cost 50 Boss Tickets and $100,000.

Once you have 30 fragments, return to Dio to forge the arrow. The process will also require 15 Vampire Blood, but you have likely already gotten enough from killing Dio 30 times.

Quest #5 - Defeat Shadow Dio

Finally, speak with Dio once more and pick the option to Face him in the Stopped World. This is a difficult raid boss, but you can freely repeat the fight if you lose.

Upon defeating him, you will now have The World in your inventory!

How to Get Over Heaven - Earthly Proofs Questline

In order to awaken The World and turn it into Over Heaven, you'll first need to meet the following requirements:

• Have the Joestar clan equipped
• The World +10 - You must fully enhance it at Ice Island

Once you have everything ready, speak with Dio and select the option "Ask about the road to Heaven". Then, click "I am ready to walk it" to start the quest chain.

Quest #1 - Defeat Dio

This one merely requires you to defeat Dio. You can do this at the Sacrifice Table in Ruin City, or you can beat him elsewhere if he naturally spawns as a random special boss.

Quest #2 - Finding Pages of the Heavenly Diary

For the second quest, you must recover 5 Pages of the Heavenly Diary. These are obtained via fishing, and they have a relatively low base drop rate of around 5%.

As soon as you finish the quest, you'll receive a Realm Beyond Heaven Key, which will be needed in the next step.

The Dio boss will also start dropping these keys once this quest is done. You can farm more of these from him if needed.

Quest #3 - The Dungeon

Make sure to level up your The World before starting this step. You'll need it as strong as possible if you want to get through this smoothly!

Open your inventory and use the Realm Beyond Heaven Key to enter the dungeon of the same name. Fight your way through the first wave normally.

During the second wave, you will start seeing 4 seals around the dungeon. You will need to activate all of these and defeat whatever boss spawns from each one.

To activate a seal, you must first approach it and use The World's Time Stop ability. This will allow you to interact with it, spawning a random powerful boss in the area.

One of the possible shadow bosses that can spawn is Undyne!

Repeat this process until you've cleared all the seals, then complete the wave to eventually face Dio Heaven Ascension.

Quest #4 - Heaven Ascension Boss

At wave 3 of the Realm Beyond Heaven dungeon, you'll face Dio Heaven Ascension. You must keep repeating this fight until he drops an Echo of Rewritten Hour.

Do the dungeon on Easy difficulty for max efficiency. The drop rate doesn't change that much to justify going through the dungeon in harder settings.

The Echo of Rewritten Hour has a 5% drop chance with no pity rates, so you'll have to keep repeating the dungeon (including the seals from Quest #3). If you are low on keys, you can farm more from Dio via the Sacrifice Table.

Quest #5 - Material Grind

The last step of the quest chain is to simply gather a whole lot of materials, which are the following:

The quest will automatically end once you have all the required materials, and your The World spec should now have a new ability called "Over Heaven" at the bottom of your moveset (default hotkey: B).

Use the ability to activate Over Heaven mode, which plays a brief cutscene. The mode features its own unique set of abilities both with and without your stand.
