The Dark Ring in Sailor Piece is an important item for those who want to unlock new and powerful weapons, but how do you get one? It's dropped by a single boss, but farming it is not as straightforward as it may seem.
In this guide, I'll go through everything you need to know to start farming a Dark Ring!
How to Get the Dark Ring
To start farming this ring, you must first travel to Sailor Island, which acts as a hub area for the first sea. To get there, either fly or head to a portal and select Sailor Island.

Once there, go inside the town and run straight to the leftmost corner where there's an open space, shown here:

If there isn't currently a boss there, then you'll likely find a floating name and timer. This countdown timer shows when the next enemy will spawn in that spot, and this alternates between two different bosses: Solo Hunter and Vampire King.

Dark Ring Farming Tips
In order to get the Dark Ring, you'll have to farm Solo Hunter. He's typically farmed by other players, so you may want to stay here and camp it if you really need one of these rings.

Simply wait for either boss to spawn, then beat them up for a chance to get their respective drops. The bosses here have a respawn time of around 5-6 minutes, and since both of them have items that are highly sought after, you may want to claim the spot by autocasting an AOE ability.
The Dark Ring has a base drop rate of 7%, which can be boosted with other luck bonuses you may have. There's also a small chance to get the Shadow Monarch title, which has a decent damage boost.
Recommended Stats
Before you start farming Solo Hunter, I highly suggest getting the following stats first:
- Be at least level 10,000+ with high damage modifiers
- Stack up as much luck as possible to increase drop rate
- Set an AOE skill as your autocast move
- Stand beside the boss' spawn, not on top of it (this prevents bugs where you get pushed away)
At that level, you should be killing either of the bosses that spawn here with just one hit.
Recommended Weapon: Gryphon
I recommend using the Gryphon sword from Shibuya Station if you're going to farm this boss with auto cast on.
Gryphon's X move has a low cooldown and large AOE, making it great for AFK farming both bosses and normal enemies. Here's the Gryphon NPC in Shibuya:
