You've probably seen the locked Soul Dominion island while using the portal, and accessing it requires the completion of the Hogyoku Quest. In this guide, I'll go over the entire quest from start to finish.

How to Start the Hogyoku Quest

First, head over to Hollow Island. The Hogyoku Quest NPC can be found at the opposite side of the island, standing near the edge:

To start it, you'll need to be at least level 8,500. Once you've met that condition, you can begin the first part.

How to Find the Hidden Hogyoku Fragments

The first part of the quest requires you to search for 6 Hogyoku Fragments scattered around the world. They are small purple orbs that usually stick out from the environment, and I'll be showing you the exact locations to speed this up!

Hogyoku Fragment #1 - Snow Island

First, head to Snow Island. From the teleporter and spawn crystal, make your way to the opposite end of the island. There, you will find the first Hogyoku Fragment on a tree branch:

Hogyoku Fragment #2 - Shibuya Station

Next, teleport or fly over to Shibuya Station. From the portal, head straight to the building with the red & green billboards, shown here:

There, you'll find the second Hogyoku Fragment at the corner, overlooking the rest of Shibuya Station:

Hogyoku Fragment #3 - Hollow Island

Your next stop is Hollow Island. Simply head over to where the Manipulator boss spawns, then jump onto the dead tree root sticking out from under the large structure. There, you'll find the third Hogyoku Fragment:

Hogyoku Fragment #4 - Shinjuku Island

For the next piece, travel to Shinjuku Island. From the portal, head to the building marked in this image below:

Once you're on the crooked platform sticking out from the side of the building, approach the open window nearby. You will find the fourth Hogyoku Fragment hiding behind the wall.

Here's an image showing where it is from the portal:

Hogyoku Fragment #5 - Slime Island

Travel to Slime Island, then immediately head over to the left side of the island:

Follow the edge and look towards the trees. You'll eventually spot the fifth Hogyoku Fragment on one of the trees' branches:

Finally, head to Judgement Island and immediately run to the right. Swim if you have to, as the last piece can be found through this path:

What's Inside Soul Dominion

Funnily enough, the quest abruptly finishes after you pick up the sixth Hogyoku Fragment. From here on out, you now have access to the Soul Dominion through the portals:

Soul Dominion Features

In this special zone, you'll find the following NPCs:

  • True Manipulator Summoner - Allows you to spawn the True Manipulator boss at the cost of Chrysalis Sigils (price varies based on selected difficulty)
  • Quest 17 NPC - Level 10750-11500 generic quest NPC tied to the level 10,750 Quincy NPCs nearby.
  • True Manipulator Seller - Lets you buy the True Manipulator, which requires a lot of rare materials and the base Manipulator weapon.
  • True Manipulator F Mastery - Mastery NPC for the True Manipulator

Aside from these NPCs, there's not much to do in this area. The portal is also your only way in and out of this zone, as there is an invisible barrier surrounding the Soul Dominion.
