More Sailor Piece Guides

Runes in Sailor Piece are rare items that provide powerful buffs, but there is no clear path to getting them nor is their leveling process properly explained. In this guide, we'll help you navigate the Rune system and show you how to get the best ones!

Complete Runes List

There are varying rarities of runes in the game, and their effect improves (up to an extent) as you gain more of the same rune. This means that grinding for higher level runes requires a lot of time and luck.

To help you decide which ones to grind for, here is a list of all the runes in the game and their base effects before any upgrades:

How to Get Runes

There are two different sources for Runes in Sailor Piece: Dungeons and Infinite Tower. For newer players, you're going to be farming the Dungeons for quite a while, as trying to get some through the tower won't be a pleasant experience.

Method #1. Rune Dungeon

The Rune Dungeon can be accessed by heading to Dungeon Island after completing the quest to unlock this feature. If you haven't done it yet, check out our guide on how to unlock dungeons in Sailor Piece first.

Speak with the Dungeon Master NPC and spawn a portal to the Rune Dungeon.

NOTE: Each attempt/replay will cost 1 Dungeon Key. Make sure to stock up on these first!

The "Rune Dungeon" option in Sailor Piece

In the dungeon, you must pick your desired difficulty and clear all waves of enemies for a chance to get a rune. Their drop rates scale with the difficulty, so higher settings will yield better results.

If you're still relatively low level, I recommend doing easy first. Otherwise, go for the highest difficulty you can comfortably and quickly clear. If you have a lot of luck boosts available, make sure to equip them as well.

I'm auto-replaying the dungeon in extreme difficulty as I'm writing this, and a new rune (or two) drops every few waves:

Method #2. Infinite Tower

The next method is Infinite Tower, which is the sole known source of Secret runes. To get there, you must first travel to Tower Island. From there, speak with the Infinite Tower NPC standing in front of the large gateway.

The Infinite Tower NPC in Sailor Piece

This activity is an endless wave mode where you fight groups of enemies and bosses every now and then. There is a very low chance (<1% base drop rate) of getting Secret runes, which do not drop from the Rune Dungeon.

This method is recommended for endgame players only, as you'll need to reach higher floors for a reasonable drop rate. Max level players with high Mythical runes and upgraded equipment can easily reach around floor 50 and above.

There's supposedly a pity system for these runes, though there is no way to track this without counting your total waves manually. Here are the reported rates:

Primordial Rune
