Thunder Breathing is one of the best Breathing Styles in Slayers 2 because of its powerful crowd control, so knowing how to unlock it can give you a massive boost in both PVE and PVP.
To help you unlock this breathing style, this guide will show you all the requirements you need and the Thunder Breathing trainer's exact location.
You must be level 25 to learn this breathing style!
Reaching the Thunder Breathing Trainer's Location
To find the Thunder Breathing trainer, you must first have both Double Jump and Wall Climb skills unlocked. Not having either of these will make the trek extremely difficult, if not impossible.

Now, make your way to the cliffs of the Hidden Mist Village at Verdant Cliffs. Specifically, head to this area marked in the map image below:

There, you'll want to start climbing up the log extending into the cliff. Use the smaller branches to recover stamina, and keep going until you reach the tip.

At the tip, you'll have to climb the wall until you reach the horizontal log above you. This is the bridge you'll be using to reach the next cliff you need to climb.

Cross the log bridge and climb up the cliff ahead of you, then start scaling it on the left side, as pictured here:

Once up there, you need to climb up the rock wall and cross another log bridge, this time headed to the west:

Once you cross this log bridge, climb up onto the cliff at the other end, and you'll be at the final stretch of the trek.

Simply climb your way up or spam jump along the cliff wall to get to the very top, using the branches and thin ledges along the way to recover stamina if you need to.
At the top of the cliff, you'll find the Thunder Trainer Zentaro NPC, who will teach you the style if you can complete his quest:

Thunder Breathing Training Quest
Before you can start the chain, you'll need the following resources:
- 10 Demon Horns - Dropped by High Demons or the Hoyuzo Subordinates (doesn't require night time)
- 7,000 Wen - Just grind any repeatable quest if you don't have enough.
To learn the Thunder Breathing style, you must first complete the Thunder Breathing Training quest, which requires you to do the following:
- Meditate
- Cup Training
- Push ups
- Aim Training
- Boulder Split
- Defeat the Thunder Trainee
Each of these tasks is done at the Butterfly Estate, which is just a short run away from the starting zone (Windy Peak). Here's a map image if you need exact directions:

Once you complete the final minigame, the Thunder Trainee mini-boss will be marked on your screen. Head over to his location and defeat him to unlock the Thunder Breathing style.

Upon defeating the Thunder Trainee, you will immediately receive the Thunder Breathing style as a reward. You should now see it as a new branch in your Skill Tree:

Thunder Breathing Abilities
The following abilities can be unlocked for this style:
Ability | Hotkey | Description |
|---|---|---|
Thunder Clap and Flash | Z | The user dashes forward like a jolt of lightning, and this is followed up with a slash if it hits an enemy. |
Lightning Fold | X | Dash upwards and then crash down like a lightning bolt, dealing damage to those caught in the radius. |
Rice Spirit | C | The user dashes and slashes every enemy caught in the ability's radius. You can charge this ability to increase its area of effect. |
God Speed | V | Hold the ability to continuously dash forward as a lightning bolt, stopping and dealing damage to the first enemy you catch along the way. |
Flaming Thunder God | B | A cutscene attack where your character executes multiple lightning-based attacks, all ending with a massive charged-up slash. |
