The Shadow Monarch is an evolved Mythical sword in Sailor Piece, and it's a powerful weapon that requires significant effort to unlock. In this guide, we'll go over everything you need to know to get it!
How to Get the Shadow Monarch
The Shadow Monarch NPC can be found on the roof of the building on Dungeon Island, opposite to where the Shadow NPC is standing.
There is no quest to unlock the Shadow Monarch. Instead, you just have to meet the following requirements:
- The Solo Hunter sword
- 10 Monarch Cores
- 5 Monarch Essences
- 2 Kamish Daggers
- 1 Shadow Crystal
- The Monarch clan
- The "King of Shadows" title
Most of these are acquired from the Double Dungeon activity, dropped by the similarly named Shadow Monarch boss. The notable exceptions here are the clan and the Solo Hunter sword, which requires a separate questline from Sailor Island.
To make your life a little easier, gather a ton of Dungeon Keys before attempting to farm these materials. Then, have the Double Dungeon auto reset on Hard or Extreme difficulty (whichever you're more comfortable in) for the best odds at getting the drops.
