Although not exactly among the best breathing styles in Slayers 2, Stone Breathing is a fantastic choice for those who have a more defensive playstyle in both PVE and PVP.

If you're looking to channel your inner Gyomei and become a Stone user, this guide will help you find the exact location of its trainer, all the requirements needed, and learn what each ability does.

You must be at least level 25 to learn this breathing style!

Stone Breathing Trainer's Location

The Stone Breathing trainer can be found in the Stone Sanctuary zone, which is at the far right edge of the map, in the next area after the Thunder Breathing trainer's location.

There, you'll find Stone Trainer Gyorei standing in front of the northern building, just behind the spawn location for the Gyorei boss.

Requirements for Stone Breathing

For Stone Breathing, you'll first need the following items/resources before you can start the quest chain:

  • Axe and Mace (weapon)
  • 4,000 Wen - Grind repeatable quests if you don't have enough
  • 5 Beast Cores - Dropped by Beast Born Demons near Mistfall Harbor

How to Get the Axe and Mace

The Axe and Mace weapon is dropped by the Stone Trainee, who is conveniently just outside the courtyard where both the Gyorei boss and Stone Trainer Gyorei are located.

It has a roughly 15% drop rate, so expect to kill this mini-boss a few times before you can start the quest.

Completing the Stone Breathing Training Quest

Once you start the Stone Breathing Training quest, you must complete the following tasks:

  • Meditate
  • Push ups
  • Boulder Push
  • Boulder Split
  • Parkour Dungeon
  • Defeat the Stone Trainee

All of these minigames must be done in order, and all tasks except the last two are done at the Butterfly Estate. This is merely a short run away from the starting zone (Windy Peak), as seen here in the map:

The Parkour Dungeon

To get to the Parkour Dungeon, head over to the Mother Bear boss' spawn point. Check your compass and head directly to the east from the Mother Bear and you'll come across a cave.

Proceed through the cave and you'll eventually run into a closed gate with a sign showing a jumping person. This is the Parkour Dungeon, and you can start it by approaching the gate.

Inside, the goal is to simply push all the levers marked on your screen within the 6-minute time limit. You also only have 4 lives to work with, so be extra careful!

Completing the Quest Chain

Finally, head back to where the Stone Trainee is, where you got the Axe and Mace weapon. Kill him once more to unlock the Stone Breathing branch in your Skill Tree, giving you access to the other abilities if you have the points for them.
