The Rod of the Forgotten Fang is generally seen as a decent rod in Fisch, especially now that it has been slightly buffed and made available to lower level players. In this guide, we'll show you exactly how to get it ASAP.
Rod of the Forgotten Fang's Requirements
In a nutshell, you'll first need the following:
- Lunar Thread
- 2x Meg's Fang
- 2x Meg's Spine
- $500,000
- Be at least level 450
With all of the requirements on hand, you must bring them to the Ancient Archives, where you will find the anvil used for crafting rods. If you don't have access to it yet, we have a guide on how to access the Ancient Archives that will help you out.
The anvil is across the broken bridge, and you will need to use your glider to get past the gaps.
How to Get the Materials
Lunar Thread
Lunar Thread can be found anywhere during a Moonlit Mirage event with a 0.1% drop rate. Outside of that, you can also find them from Treasure Chests with a much higher drop chance of 3%.
Having a Sunken Rod can help you with this, especially if you have the Scavenger enchantment on it.
Meg's Fang & Spine
Both the Meg's Fang and Meg's Spine ingredients can be found randomly by fishing around the Ancient Isle. They are Mythical items, so having a lot of extra Luck on your rod will make this easier.
